Synopsis: Denzi was robbed of a normal teenage life, left with nothing but the insurmountable debt of his dead father. His only companion is his pet, the chainsaw devil Pochita, with whom he kills devils for money that inevitably ends up in the pockets of the yakuza. All Denzi can do is dream of a good, simple life: one with delicious food and a beautiful girlfriend by his side. But an act of greedy betrayal by the yakuza leads to Denji's brutal, untimely death, crushing all his hopes of finding happiness.
Remarkably, an old pact allows Pochita to merge with the dead Denji and grant him demonic powers, changing him into a hybrid capable of transforming his body parts into chainsaws. As Denji's new powers pose a significant risk to society, the Public Security Bureau's elite devil hunter Makima takes him in, allowing him to live as long as he obeys her orders. Driven by the promise of a content life with an attractive woman, Denji fights with all his might to make his naive dreams come true.
