Synopsis: Kazuya Kinoshita is a 20-year-old college student with a wonderful girlfriend: the bright and sunny Mami Nanami. But suddenly, he doesn't. Without warning, Mami breaks up with him, leaving him utterly heartbroken and alone. To ease the pain, he hires a surrogate girlfriend through an online app. Her partner is Chizuru Mizuhara, who manages to win Kazuya's affections through her unmatched beauty and cute demeanor.
But after reading about other customers' similar experiences with Chizuru, Kazuya believes that her warm smile and caring personality were all an act to toy with his heart and he values her badly. Exasperated, Chizuru berates him for his shameless hypocrisy, revealing his true temper and hot temper. This one-sided exchange is cut short, however, when Kazuya learns that his grandmother has collapsed.
They rush to the hospital and find Kazuya' s grandmother already in good condition. Surprised by Chizuru' s presence, he asks who this girl could be. On impulse, Kazuya immediately declares that they force the lover, Chizuru, to play the part. But with Kazuya still hanging on to his previous relationship with Mami, how long can these tough clients and reluctant rental girlfriends keep up?
